Questions about the hi-vis mesh D.O.T. vest
What ANSI class is this mesh D.O.T. vest?
It is ANSI/ISEA 107-2020 Class 2, which meets the visibility standard for workers in traffic zones up to 50 mph.
Is this mesh vest good for hot weather?
Yes. It is made from a lightweight polyester woven mesh that breathes, so it is more comfortable in the heat than a solid-fabric vest.
How is it different from the Game I-84 woven vest?
This vest is mesh and adds a right chest radio pocket and a left chest ID pocket with pen slots. The I-84 is a solid woven polyester vest with interior pockets only. Both are Class 2 with 3M tape and a dielectric zipper.
Is the mesh D.O.T. vest flame resistant?
No. It is a high-visibility vest, not flame-resistant (FR) apparel, and it is not arc-rated PPE. The dielectric zipper is non-conductive, but the vest itself offers no flame protection.
What sizes and colors does the mesh vest come in?
Fluorescent Yellow in sizes S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL and 5XL.
