The First Tactical Tactix Softshell Vest (Style 118004) uses the same stretch, fleece-lined softshell idea as the Tactix Softshell Jacket and Parka, cut as a vest. It shrugs off wind and light rain, moves with you and carries your small gear in zip-secure pockets. It works on patrol, at the station or as a light layer on cool days.

- 85% nylon, 15% spandex blend: true 4-way stretch, so the vest moves when you reach, bend or climb.
- Water and wind resistant: protection from wind and light weather without the bulk of a jacket.
- Brushed fleece lining: soft and warm against your base layer.
- Zip-secure storage pockets: keep keys, notebooks and small gear from falling out.
- Inside zip chest pocket with media port access: run an earbud or radio cord from a device stored in the pocket.

Is the Tactix Softshell Vest waterproof?
It is water and wind resistant, built for light weather. For steady rain, choose a waterproof, seam-sealed shell such as the First Tactical Tactix Parka Shell or Monsoon Parka.
Is the Tactix Softshell Vest flame resistant?
No. The Tactix Softshell Vest is not flame-resistant (FR) apparel and is not PPE or turnout gear. Do not wear it on the fireground.
