Description:
A small, light backup blade that stays put until you need it. The Scorpion Tanto (Style 140000) is a compact fixed-blade knife built as a backup or boot knife and an everyday carry piece. It has a 440A steel modified tanto blade, a skeletonized design for weight savings and an FRN sheath you can run as a Level I tension fit or a Level II lock. The locking mechanism comes off easily for cleaning.
Features
- 440A steel modified tanto blade: a tough point for a small knife.
- Level I or Level II sheath: a tension fit, or a locking mechanism, so the knife stays in place until deployment.
- FRN sheath: lightweight and durable.
- Removable locking mechanism: easy to take off for cleaning after field use.
- Index finger pull locator: easy to find for quick deployment.
- Skeletonized with lightening cuts: maximum weight savings, so it doesn't bounce around when you move.
Size and weight
Overall length is 4.92 inches (125 mm). It weighs 1.6 oz on its own and 2.6 oz with the sheath. We carry it in Black. See more First Tactical uniforms and gear.
