Both are 6.4 oz stretch shorts with a 9 inch inseam and a DWR finish. The V2 uses 65/35 poly/cotton micro ripstop with reinforced, flapped pockets. The A2 uses 67/33 poly/cotton micro-canvas and adds discreet zippered cargo pockets, mesh-lined pockets, a clip garage and a 360 degree stretch panel waist.
Is the V2 Tactical Short flame resistant?
No. The V2 is a 65/35 poly/cotton ripstop with a DWR finish, not an FR-rated fabric. It is not flame-resistant (FR) apparel and is not PPE or turnout gear. Wear it for station duty, training and calls where FR gear is not required.
