Questions about the long baton pouch
What baton does this pouch fit?
It is Dutyman's long baton pouch, listed in the 21" size. Dutyman does not publish a list of specific baton models, so contact us with your baton's make and length and we will help you check.
What is the difference between the open-bottom and standard pouch?
Both are the same long plain leather pouch. The open-bottom version has an open end at the bottom; the standard version does not. This listing is the open-bottom version.
Which finish should I choose?
Plain is smooth leather, Basketweave has an embossed woven pattern, and High-Gloss is a shiny Clarino finish. Pick the one that matches your belt so your whole rig looks uniform. Dutyman makes this pouch in all three finishes.
Is the long baton pouch flame resistant?
No. It is leather duty gear, not flame-resistant (FR) gear. It is not NFPA certified and it is not PPE or turnout gear, so never rely on it for fire protection.
