Questions about the MK-3 OC holder
What size canister does this holder fit?
It is made for an MK-3 canister, which Dutyman lists as the 2 oz size. If you are unsure which canister your agency issues, contact us and we will help.
Which closure should I choose?
You can order it with Black Snap, Gold Snap, Hidden Snap, Hook & Loop, Open Top or Silver Snap. The snap choices close the flap with a snap and differ only in hardware color, so match them to your buckle and brass; Hidden Snap keeps the snap out of sight; Hook & Loop closes the flap with hook and loop instead of a snap; Open Top has no flap, for the quickest access to your spray.
What is the Basketweave finish?
Basketweave is black leather embossed with a woven pattern. It is a traditional duty-gear look, and the texture tends to hide everyday scuffs. Pick Basketweave if your duty belt and other accessories are basketweave so the whole rig matches. Browse Dutyman duty belts to match.
Is this OC holder flame resistant?
No. This is leather duty gear for carrying an OC canister. It is not flame resistant (FR), is not NFPA certified, and it is not PPE or turnout gear.
