Description:
Hold your cuffs with as little bulk as possible. The Dutyman Basketweave Leather Handcuff Straps (Dutyman 6121) are a minimal way to carry handcuffs on a duty belt. The embossed basketweave pattern gives it the traditional textured look found on many duty rigs. A snap closes the strap, with black, gold or silver hardware to match the rest of your gear.
Features
- Basketweave leather: leather embossed with a basketweave pattern for a look that matches other Dutyman Basketweave accessories.
- Snap closure: secures the strap around your cuffs.
- Three hardware finishes: black, gold or silver (nickel) snaps.
- Minimal carry: a strap rather than a full case, for officers who want less bulk on the belt.
Snap options
- Black Snap: a snap closure with black hardware that disappears on a black rig.
- Gold Snap: a snap closure with gold-tone hardware to match brass badges and buttons.
- Silver Snap: a snap closure with silver (nickel) hardware to match silver badges and buttons.

Questions about the handcuff strap
What do the closure options on the handcuff strap mean?
The Black/Gold/Silver options are the same snap closure with different hardware colors; pick the one that matches your badge, buttons and other belt hardware. Silver is Dutyman's name for a nickel finish.
Strap or case: which should I get?
A strap carries the cuffs with less leather around them. If you want the cuffs fully covered, look at a Dutyman closed cuff case; if you want quick access with no flap, an open cuff case. All are in our handcuff cases category.
Should I choose Plain or Basketweave?
Match the rest of your duty belt. Dutyman makes this handcuff strap in Plain and Basketweave, and this listing is the Basketweave version. Plain is smooth leather with a clean, low-key look. Basketweave has an embossed woven texture. Many agencies set the finish in uniform policy, so check yours before you order.
Is the Dutyman handcuff strap flame resistant?
No. It is leather duty gear, not flame-resistant (FR) gear. It is not NFPA certified and is not PPE or turnout gear, so it should not be counted on for fireground protection.
Where can I buy the Dutyman handcuff strap?
