Which buckle should I choose?
Match the buckle to your badge, snaps and other hardware. Gold and Silver are the standard buckle finishes (Silver is Dutyman's name for nickel). The Solid Brass options use a solid brass buckle in a gold or silver tone for crews that want solid brass hardware.
Is the High-Gloss garrison belt real leather?
The High-Gloss finish is a high-quality synthetic leather (Clarino) with a shiny surface. If you want full-grain leather, choose the Plain version.
Can I hang gear on a garrison belt?
Yes. The wider 1-3/4" width gives the belt extra rigidity, so it offers a stable base for gear like a holster or pouch while staying comfortable all day.
Is the garrison belt flame resistant?
No. It is leather duty gear, not flame-resistant (FR) gear. It is not NFPA certified and it is not PPE or turnout gear, so never rely on it for fire protection.
