Carhartt's duck pieces, the Duck Traditional Coat, Duck Active Jac and Duck Vest, use 12-ounce, firm-hand ring spun cotton duck with Wind Fighter to tame wind. The Gilliam jacket and vest pair a 1.75-ounce Cordura nylon shell with 100-gram polyester insulation, and Super Dux nylon is 35% lighter than traditional duck with twice the abrasion resistance.
