Bravo FAQ

  • Who makes Bravo pumps?

Bravo is a brand of Scoprega, a family-owned Italian company founded in 1979 that makes electric, hand and foot inflators, inflation valves, oars and paddles. Electric pumps have been its core business since the 1990s, and its Ningbo Bravo plant in China opened in 2007.

  • How much pressure does the Bravo BTP 12 reach?

Up to 15 psi (1.034 bar), shown on its built-in 0-15 psi gauge. That suits stand up paddle boards, inflatable rescue boards and other drop-stitch gear. It also deflates.

  • Can I run the BTP 12 with the engine on?

No. Never operate the Bravo with the vehicle motor running. The higher voltage output will damage the pump. Clip it to the battery with the engine off.

  • Will the BTP 12 fit my boat's valves?

It comes with eight valve adapters, including one made for Leafield C7 and D7 valves, to fit most common valves.

  • How do I use the Bravo Mini Valve?

Press the plunger until it clicks to open the valve, and press again until it clicks to close it. An internal mesh screen keeps drop-stitch threads and debris out. Use the Mini Adaptor to connect a pump and the Mini Valve Wrench to install or remove the valve.

  • What is the warranty on the BTP 12?

Our listing shows a 2 year workmanship and materials warranty. It does not come with a commercial warranty. If something goes wrong, reach out and we'll help.

  • Where can I buy Bravo?

We carry the BTP 12 high-pressure 12 volt pump, the Bravo Mini valve, adapter and wrench, and replacement pump hoses. Every order is backed by our price match guarantee and easy 30-day returns.
