Questions about the 1957 Series 8" Waterproof Moc
Is the 1957 Series 8 inch moc toe waterproof?
Yes. It has a waterproof, breathable membrane.
Does it have a safety toe?
No. It is a soft (non-safety) toe boot. It does carry an EH (electrical hazard) rating.
Where is the 1957 Series 8 inch waterproof moc made?
Made in USA with USA and globally sourced components.
Can the 1957 Series 8 inch waterproof moc be resoled?
It is built with Goodyear storm welt construction, and welt construction is what makes resoling possible. Whether a given pair can be resoled depends on its condition, so have a boot repair shop look at it when the time comes.
Can I wear the 1957 Series 8 inch waterproof moc for firefighting?
No. The 1957 Series 8 inch waterproof moc is a work boot, not a structural firefighting (NFPA 1971/1970) boot or turnout boot, so do not wear it for interior or structural firefighting. Its EH rating is an ASTM electrical-hazard rating, not fire protection.
