How to choose
- Title: Pick the title that matches your job. Only buy and wear a badge you are authorized to carry. Laws on badge use vary by state.
- Shape and size: Shields, 6- and 7-point stars and round badges are listed with inch sizes. Match the size to your holder.
- Weight: Lightweight badges are easier on shirts. Enameled and plated badges are heavier and dressier.
- Mount: Pin and catch backs suit shirts. Hat badges use posts and clutch backs.
