How to choose
- Rank: Stars and bars are common in law enforcement. Fire service officers often wear bugles, with more bugles for higher rank.
- Size: Collar pins come in heights such as 1/2, 5/8 and 1 inch. Pick the size your uniform rules call for.
- Finish: Gold and silver finishes usually follow badge color. Match your badge and buttons.
- Chevrons: Choose the stripe and background colors and width that match your shirt. Merrowed borders give a finished edge.

Insignia FAQ
Are collar pins sold in pairs?
Most are. The product name will say pair when two pins are included.
What is a clutch back?
A small spring clasp that grips the pin post behind the collar. Keep spares on hand, since they can loosen over time.
Where do collar pins go?
Placement depends on your agency. Most wear them centered on each collar point, about 1 inch from the tip.
