Is the EdgeTec EMS Pant flame resistant?
No. The EdgeTec EMS Pant is a polyester ripstop EMS uniform pant. Propper makes no flame-resistance or NFPA claim for it, so it is not flame-resistant (FR) apparel and is not PPE or turnout gear.
What makes it an EMS pant?
The pocket layout. Nine pockets, including easy-access side cargo pockets, are designed to securely house shears and other medical gear, and the reinforced knees hold up to kneeling at patient side.
Does it resist blood and fluids?
The coated polyester ripstop has a durable water repellent treatment that helps repel stains, dirt and liquids. It is a uniform pant, not protective equipment.
How does it fit?
It has a classic fit: a stretch slider waistband with an internal shirt gripper that sits comfortably through the hip, thigh and leg. Sizes come in waist sizes 28 through 56 with 30, 32, 34 and 36 inch inseams plus a 37 inch unhemmed (37 U) option.
