Questions about the AirTek open top and bottom flashlight holder
Which size flashlight holder do I need?
Match the light diameter. The 1473 holder fits 26 mm lights such as the Surefire 6P and Streamlight Strion and Scorpion. The 1474 holder fits 30 mm lights such as the Streamlight Stinger, Polystinger and Stinger XT.
Why is it open at both ends?
The open top and bottom let it carry lights of different lengths, so one holder can serve more than one light of the same diameter.
Should I choose plain or basket weave?
Plain is a smooth finish and basket weave has a woven texture. Both are the same holder, so choose whichever matches the rest of your duty belt.
Is the AirTek open top and bottom flashlight holder flame resistant or NFPA certified?
No. The AirTek open top and bottom flashlight holder is duty gear made of AirTek synthetic leather. It is not flame resistant (FR), is not NFPA certified and is not PPE or turnout gear.
