Description:
A tough polymer holder for the 26 inch Friction baton. The ASP Federal Scabbard (ASP 52638) carries an F Series baton on the duty belt, retracted or expanded, and keeps it secure while you work. Patrol officers and security staff who run a 26 inch Friction will find it quick to draw and easy to adjust.
Features
- Holds the baton retracted or expanded: ready to present fast without giving up retention.
- Seven click-stop positions: the scabbard rotates through a 180 degree arc but stops at horizontal, so it cannot swing far enough to compromise baton security.
- Adjustable internal clip: set the retention level you prefer.
- Snap-Loc belt loop: attaches anywhere on the belt without threading or unthreading your other duty gear.
- Indexed slide track and bar: fits common duty belt and dress belt widths, or MOLLE gear.
- Polymer construction: a tough, rigid body made in the USA.

Questions about the Federal Scabbard
Which baton does this scabbard fit?
It is sized for the 26 inch ASP Friction (F Series) baton. Scabbards for 16 inch and 21 inch Frictions are separate sizes, so choose the one that matches your baton.
Can I holster the baton extended?
Yes. The scabbard holds an F Series baton in either the retracted or the expanded mode.
How do I adjust baton retention?
An adjustable internal clip lets you set how tightly the scabbard holds the baton.
Will it fit my duty belt?
The Snap-Loc belt loop uses an indexed slide track and bar that adjusts to common duty belt and dress belt widths, or MOLLE gear. It attaches anywhere on the belt without removing other gear.
Is the Federal Scabbard flame resistant or NFPA certified?
No. It is duty gear made of tough polymer. It is not flame resistant (FR), is not NFPA certified and is not PPE, so do not treat it as protective equipment.
