New Dimension: Shirt and Pant

New Dimension is Horace Small's poly-cotton uniform. The shirts are 4.25 oz. stretch poplin (65% polyester, 35% cotton) with silicone permanent creases and extra length at the sides to stay tucked. The pants are 8.0 oz. poly-cotton twill with post-cured creases and a Ban-Rol waistband. The EMT pant adds two cargo pockets and an instrument pocket with two snaps.

  • What is the difference between Horace Small Sentry, New Dimension and Deputy Deluxe shirts?

    The fabric. Sentry is 100% polyester tropical weave (4.5 oz.) with a VISA finish, and you can home wash or dry clean it. New Dimension is a 65/35 poly-cotton stretch poplin (4.25 oz.) for home washing. Deputy Deluxe is a heavier 65/35 poly-rayon tropical weave (6.95 oz.) made from two-ply yarns. All three have permanent creases and pleated pockets.

  • Do Horace Small shirts fit over body armor?

    Yes. Horace Small designs its Sentry, New Dimension poplin and Deputy Deluxe shirts to fit over body armor. It also adds length at the sides to help keep the shirt tucked under a duty belt.

    No. Horace Small lists no flame-resistant or NFPA rating for the shirts, polos and pants we carry, even the New Dimension 4-pocket pant it calls a fire pant. Wear them as station and duty uniforms, not as firefighting PPE.

  • What is the Horace Small New Dimension EMT pant?

    It's a 6-pocket pant made for EMTs, in 8.0 oz. 65/35 poly-cotton twill. It has quarter-top front pockets, cargo pockets on both legs, an instrument pocket with two snaps inside the right cargo pocket, and back hip pockets. The creases are post-cured to last, and it comes in men's waist sizes and women's sizes.

  • How do I choose a Horace Small size?

    Men's uniform shirts are sold by neck size (14.5 to 20.5), and women's shirts in S to 2XL. Men's trousers are sold by waist size, and women's trousers in sizes 4 to 24. Polos and the job shirt come in XS to 4XL. The size menu on each listing shows exactly what we carry.

  • How do I wash Horace Small uniforms?

    Horace Small says Sentry and Deputy Deluxe shirts and Sentry trousers can be home washed or dry cleaned. New Dimension shirts and pants, the Special Ops polos and the quarter-zip job shirt are home wash. The New Dimension pants have post-cured creases and a soil-release finish.
