Foam Concentrate

Foam Concentrate

Class A foam concentrate makes water work harder on ordinary combustibles. Mixed in small amounts, it lowers water's surface tension so it soaks into wood, brush, hay and other Class A fuels instead of running off. This category carries Chemguard Class A Plus Foam.

How to choose

  • Fuel type: Class A foam is made for ordinary combustibles. Flammable liquid fires call for a Class B foam.
  • Mix rate: Follow the proportioning range on the label and set your eductor or system to match.
  • Equipment: Check that your pump, eductor or foam system is rated for the concentrate you use, and flush it after use.
  • Storage: Keep containers sealed and store them as the label directs.
