How does the hook and loop tip belt close?
There is no buckle. About 6 inches of hook and loop material at the belt ends fastens together, so you can set the fit quickly and adjust it during the day.

Is the Dutyman hook and loop garrison belt flame resistant?
No. It is a leather uniform belt, not flame-resistant (FR) gear. It is not NFPA certified and is not PPE or turnout gear.
