Description:
Specifically engineered for forcible entry on high-value commercial doors such as glass storefront entrances, this tool offers superior control and efficiency when pulling rim cylinders, keyed doorknobs, and deadbolt locksets—helping reduce damage while speeding entry.
This style of forcible entry tool is commonly used on high-value commercial doors, such as large glass storefront entrances. In these situations, replacing a $100 lock is far more cost-effective for the property owner than replacing a $3,000–$10,000 glass door.
The LXT-24 Lock X-traction Tool is designed to provide superior control and efficiency when pulling rim cylinders, keyed doorknobs, and deadbolt locksets. The curved geometry of the forked head creates smooth, controlled cam-action prying in multiple directions, allowing firefighters to work precisely and deliberately.
The LXT-24 is capable of gripping the outer rim of an outward-facing lock cylinder and prying it free, exposing the internal latch or deadbolt mechanism for activation with a screwdriver or similar tool. The opposite end features the same chisel point found on our Roof Hook, allowing the tool to be used for forcing doors, clearing windows, or punching out exposed locksets.
As we expand our forcible entry lineup, the LXT-24 serves as a complementary tool to our TD30 and TD24 Halligans, giving crews additional options when controlled entry is critical.
