Should I choose the Cotton Station Shirt or the V2 PRO DUTY Uniform Shirt?
Choose the Cotton Station Shirt if you want 100% Tough Cotton™. The V2 PRO DUTY Uniform Shirt uses V2 polyester/cotton ripstop with two-way mechanical stretch and a DWR finish, and adds sewn-in epaulettes and pintucks for a Class A look. Both have a faux button placket with a hidden zipper.
Does it zip or button?
Both. The front shows melamine buttons on a faux placket, but it closes with a hidden YKK® locking zipper.
Is it good for fire and EMS station wear?
Yes. It is built as a station uniform shirt, with a vented yoke, pen pockets, an ID write bar, a locker loop and a kit with epaulette, badge tab and mic holder.
Is the Cotton Station Shirt flame resistant?
No. A 100% cotton shirt is not the same as an FR-rated shirt. First Tactical makes no FR or NFPA claim for it; it is not flame-resistant (FR) apparel and is not PPE or turnout gear.
