Nice gloves
February 26, 2021
These are very nice gloves. But seriously these really run small. I read the other reviews and up sized mine from XL to XXL and they are still a bit tight. I normally wear a L to XL glove. I'm sure that once I break them in they'll loosen up some. Good gloves that should work well in a fire.
ProsForm fitting. Seem well-made. Easier to manipulate objects than my last pair of structural gloves.
ConsSizes run small by at least one size.

Everything I expected and some
January 24, 2021
I knew people that had these gloves and all they did was rant and rave about them. I finally took the jump and bought a pair. They arrived quickly and at first glance the first thought was man these are light. Then I noticed the thickness or lack of thickness that they had. After putting them on the ability and use of dexterity was amazing straight out of the package. The more I use them through training and putting them through their paces, I'm 100% sold on them and will be purchasing another set once these break down. The only I can say not really bad but I feel is important to point out, is that with me and my shift mates was they run roughly a size small. I normally wear a medium but my structure gloves are always a large for ease of on and off. These fit perfect like mediums normally would but haven't had any issues thus far.
ProsQuick delivery, dexterity, comfortable, how thin they are
ConsRuns a size small in my opinion

I love these gloves so far. Best tactility and dexterity that I have tried so far. I normally wear an XL FF glove. XL latex medical gloves fit well and I ordered a size XXL/82W MK-1 glove and they are snug and perfect. Hope they donít shrink too much when washed and dried.
ProsGreat dexterity
ConsMight shrink on me

Great Structure Fire Gloves
September 15, 2019
Iíve owned my pair of vanguard MK1 for over a year now, and Iím still very pleased with them! Soft with great dexterity straight out of the box that only gets better as they get broke in. Great quality glove that holds up without becoming stiff as a board.
ProsGreat quality. Inner liner stitched in place so it stays put. Extra layers on areas of usual wear spots. Great dexterity, no issues masking up with these gloves on.
ConsThey run a little small on their sizing. I usually wear an XL for other gloves but needed an XXL with these.

The fit and dexterity are superb. They have yet to be tested in a fire.

Very good
June 18, 2020
Just got these, used them at 1 fire. Good comfort, good dexterity (not perfect but they're structural gloves). The Kevlar provides some assurance that there's some puncture resistance. The smooth liner works well for putting these on when wet.
I usually just use what the department gives me, but the gloves they supply just took a big turn for the worse, so I went looking for an alternative.
One thing to know these legitimately run small. They are relatively roomy in fit, but in my normal size the fingers were ridiculously short.
