This firefighter bailout bag is the king. You can buy the cheaper ones but you won't get what this one has. First from the outside in you will get a sturdy hi-viz bag. This can attach to to your turnout gear truckman's belt if you would like. Two inner straps make it easy for you to attach it to anything you have available. Can be added to any harness or belt. The bag is durable and will stand up to the rigors that you do.

When you open up the bag, you have your FESH hook. What is FESH? FESH is a Firefighter Escape Survival Hook. This hook has a 4 inch bite and a 3.75 inch throat. It's been tested for up to 6000 pounds.

Secondly attached to the FESH hook, is 50 feet of 7.5 millimeter Sterling rescue rope. This is well enough for you to egress from a several story building safely in an emergency. The rope itself is threaded through the one thing on this system that makes this different than any other escape hook ever invented.

The G-Zero descender allows you to bail out the window and if you let go of your rope or loose control, you STOP! Your weight will put enough friction on the rope to stop you from an uncontrolled drop. That is never safe! Look at the detailed photos to get a little closer idea of how this works. Essentially we are using friction and a pinch point to stop you from falling.

Attached to the G-Zero descender is a caribiner. This is the anchor point of you and the harness. This is where the magic happens. The weight of the firefighter (YOU) puts enough friction on the bail-out line so that you do not move.

Golfire has manufactured this hook to accommodate all types of construction. Most wood frames around windows and doors are constructed of two 2 x 4's plus the window frame its self. The FESH Hook was manufactured to go around these objects to give you the maximum security in an anchoring system. Any smaller of a hook would only bite into the molding around a window.

The G-Zero Bag was developed to be either a pocket bag or attached to a harness or belt. The rear of the bag has a 5000 lb belt loop that if you place a belt or harness through the loop it becomes integrated with that belt or harness. On the end of the loop is a 5000 lb D-Ring that is directly attached to you G-Zero and rope. So when you deploy your system you are per-connected!
